Day 58 of 365: Cooking with Lara

Tonight was a little different... instead of doing the usual photographs I decided to photograph food... and what better way to do this by having my roommate showcase her cooking skills.

For an assignment that's due tomorrow the concept was to do food photography using flash. Now... flash photography is in my court since I do a lot of it. Instead of holding the flash I decided to mount it on a light stand and bounce it right on the ceiling to give it a softer look. It was really fun photographing Lara prepping and cooking the food. A great attempt on photographing an inspired chef.
