DAYVMATT

I was going to do a "Photographers I'm Followinng" segment where I pick three photographers (or artists) and write about them. Today I wanted to do a segment on one photographer. His name is Dayv Matt. I admire his work.
Currently living in Korea Dayv Matt is a Canadian Native who partly works in an office. In between working and living a married life Dayv is able to capture life as a resident in his city. Based on most of the images I've seen Dayv is not necessarily looking for "one-liners" or decisive moments that most street photographers look for, but rather quoting Henri-Cartier Bresson "Photography is nothing - it's life that interests me."
When I see Dayv's work I envision myself being there through the lens. I think about how he feels through the exposures he takes. I think about how he is connected with his subjects and the places he visits. Course I don't know him personally, but looking at his work I get a sense of how he approaches the street. He's got soul, not Seoul.
Thank you Dayv for capturing great atmosphere. It really does shine my friend
