Garry Winogrand's 1964

It took me awhile to understand Garry Winogrand's concept photographically. For awhile Winogrand's work didn't surface for me until recently when I had peaked his book "1964." The first time I saw this book was at my friend Sean Custer's apartment. From then on his name would come up once in awhile and I would look up him up. Until recently I started understanding his methods and what he was trying to accomplish visually... because he really didn't have much of a method. He went out, saw it, thought it was interesting, and shot it. No ifs ands or but's. He went out there and just did it. And I respect him for that. When he died he left thousands of frames undeveloped. For that matter he has a lot of history he's captured and hopefully I'll be able to do the same through the years to come. Thank's Garry for the inspiration.
