Dead (Outside) / Alive (Inside)

I'm not even sure why I take these pictures, but something about them symbolizes something that I can't really explain. Flowers are such a lame subject (and it was my first online zine project too), but I realize that I shoot these things often. They're mainly a good background for designs I want to create, but that's about it.
